Job Summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a skilled Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel nursing assignment in a reputable hospital. As a PICU RN, you will provide critical care to pediatric patients and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in the PICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current RN license in New Jersey or Compact State RN License.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • PALS certification.
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience in PICU.
  • NALS or NRP certification preferred.
