Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team at Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications in our hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness
  • Dispense, prepare, and compound medications as needed
  • Counsel and advise patients on medication use and potential side effects
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and messengers to ensure efficient workflow
  • Perform tasks related to Pyxis ordering and inventory management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Current New York State pharmacist license/registration renewal
  • 1-2 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
