About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team at INTEGRIS Health. As a key member of our Pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Medication Expertise: Advise patients and healthcare professionals on medications, medication therapy, and pharmacokinetic recommendations.
  • Order Verification: Verify physician orders for safe and optimal medication therapy, including indications, allergies, dosing, interactions, duplications, cost-effectiveness, and formulary compliance.
  • System Integration: Enter physician orders into information systems for other INTEGRIS Health facilities as approved by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Work Completion and Accuracy: Verify, initial, and be accountable for the completion and accuracy of all work, including that of technicians, within the expected turnaround time.
  • Medication Management: Ensure that only properly dispensed and stored medications are available in healthcare areas.
  • Emergency Cart Readiness: Maintain a proper supply of emergency carts or assign them to a designated technician.
  • Compounding and Dispensing: Compound and dispense pharmaceutical products, ensuring that the completed product is accurately prepared, labeled, documented, and distributed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
  • Licensure: Current Oklahoma Pharmacy license.
  • Continuing Education: 15 hours of approved continued education annually.
  • Communication: Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
