Job Title: Head Coach - Boys Soccer LP High School

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Head Coach to lead our Boys Soccer team at LP High School. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating team selection and tryouts, developing and implementing effective practice plans, and preparing the team for local and national competitions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate team selection and tryouts
  • Develop and implement safe and effective practice plans
  • Prepare the team for local and national competitions
  • Work effectively with athletes, staff, parents, administration, and support staff to support the school's vision for the team
  • Maintain a positive image for the school, community, and team
  • Engage in school and community events
  • Support and motivate student athletes to excel academically
  • Develop sport-specific skills in athletes
  • Provide individual instruction and guidance to student athletes
  • Adhere to state and NFHS safety guidelines, rules, and regulations
  • Manage resources and budget in accordance with Alpine School District regulations and policies
  • Plan and budget fundraising opportunities for the team
  • Oversee local and extended trips and events
  • Maintain team equipment and order uniforms and gear
  • Participate in the hiring and instructing of assistant coaches

The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge in coaching at the high school, all-star, and/or college levels. A teaching certificate is not required, but the ability to teach classes may be considered for additional compensation.
