Summary

The Chemical Cleaning Technician plays a vital role in our operations, performing a variety of tasks that require physical strength, flexibility, and attention to detail. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining cleaning equipment, adhering to strict safety protocols, and ensuring the efficient execution of chemical cleaning processes.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and set up cleaning equipment such as pumps and circulators according to operational guidelines and safety procedures.
  • Strictly adhere to all safety policies and practices, including the proper use of personal protective gear.
  • Work safely in industrial environments involving heavy machinery, loud noises, and potential hazards.
  • Install, repair, and maintain valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and other equipment.
  • Inspect equipment, connections, and work areas before starting each job, reporting any deficiencies to your supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Ability to pass a hair follicle and urine drug screen (including randoms).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • General labor experience is preferred.
  • Experience in chemical cleaning chemistry is beneficial.
  • Willingness to travel for extended periods.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • CDL (Class A preferred) is a plus.
  • Ability to respond to emergency calls 24/7 if required.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures and at high elevations.
  • Strong understanding of training materials and standard operating procedures.
  • Capacity to follow specific instructions and procedures accurately.
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle up to 50 pounds.

Physical Requirements

  • Physically capable of performing all assigned duties and responsibilities.
  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Physically able to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
  • Physically capable of climbing, balancing, bending, stooping, and kneeling continuously.
