Post Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nurse Opportunity

Tact Staff is seeking an experienced and skilled Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse to join their team for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in New Jersey. As a dedicated healthcare professional, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with the perioperative team to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.

About the Assignment

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the PACU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
  • Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital policies
  • Collaborate with the perioperative team to ensure smooth transitions and effective communication among all stakeholders
  • Maintain a safe and efficient environment, prioritizing patient safety and well-being at all times
Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you must possess:

  • 1 year of experience in a PACU or critical care setting
  • A current RN license and active BLS certification
  • ACLS and PALS certifications
  • CCRN or CPAN certification preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
