  • Performs interventional radiology procedures independently or under physician supervision, adhering to established medical standards. Utilizes appropriate anatomical positioning and physiological knowledge to capture high-quality images while prioritizing patient safety, confidentiality, and comfort.
  • Qualifications
  • Education
  • Required: Graduate from an ARRT accredited Radiological Technology program
  • Preferred: Associate's Degree in Radiology or a related discipline
  • Experience
  • Required: Minimum of one year of experience in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Preferred: 1-2 years of focused experience in Interventional Radiology
  • Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of current interventional radiology techniques.
  • Proficient in computer systems and software applications.
  • Excellent skills in time management, communication, organization, and decision-making.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Licensure/Certification
  • Required: R.T. (R) (ARRT) certification
  • Required: R.T. (CI), (VI), or (CV) certification to be obtained within one year of employment
  • Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be acquired within 90 days of employment
