Key Duties:
- Conduct effective team rituals and ensure production readiness through thorough peer reviews, quality assurance, documentation, deployment, logging, and monitoring.
- Guarantee that your team's solutions are scalable, architecturally robust, adaptable, and secure.
- Foster accountability for project timelines while nurturing an inclusive, collaborative, and supportive work environment.
- Provide timely, constructive coaching and development opportunities for your team members.
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, and performance management to ensure that the right talent is in place to meet business objectives.
Team Collaboration:
Develop and maintain a strong partnership with your Engineering Manager and peers in development leadership.
Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Operates within North/South American time zones.
- Has a minimum of three years of experience as an Engineering Manager for SRE teams working on a SaaS product (B2B or B2C) in a SaaS environment.
- Possesses at least three years of experience as an SRE, focusing on designing and implementing reliable and scalable infrastructure.
- Has a deep understanding of SaaS software architecture, technologies, and cloud infrastructure, enabling effective representation of their team's technical decisions across the organization.
- Is committed to understanding technical architecture, experimenting with new technologies, reviewing proposals, and providing feedback to elevate the engineering team.
