Position Details:
  • Monday to Friday schedule (with occasional weekend shifts)
  • Weekend shifts required on a rotating basis with medical/surgical rehabilitation; weekday hours may vary when scheduled for weekend duty
  • Exempt employment status

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for delivering comprehensive Physical Therapy services, including patient assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions within a collaborative environment that aligns with professional standards and ethical practices. The role involves accountability for program development, quality enhancement, problem-solving, and productivity improvement in a dynamic interdisciplinary setting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program
  • Valid license to practice in Oklahoma
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication
  • Certification in basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Experience in treating adult and geriatric populations is essential
  • Preferred experience with individuals with physical disabilities
  • Capability to engage with confused and aggressive patients

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderately heavy items, including patients (up to or exceeding 100 lbs.) for the majority of the work shift
  • Capacity to manage heavy materials (over 100 lbs.)
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, with some bending and stooping involved
  • Demonstrated stamina to cope with high-pressure situations and fulfill the work schedule requirements
