Location: Tewksbury, MA
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm
Employment Type: Full-time Hourly
Compensation: $19 per hour
As a vital member of our Fulfillment team, you will play a key role in connecting families with local farmers by ensuring that our members receive high-quality deliveries of grass-fed and pasture-raised meat. You will collaborate with a small team to efficiently pack our members' monthly orders, ensuring they receive the best products from local farms.
This position is ideal for individuals looking to embark on a career in inventory management, warehousing, or supply chain operations. You will gain valuable experience in a warehouse setting and receive comprehensive training on operational procedures. With our rapid growth and expansion plans, there will be opportunities for career advancement for dedicated team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on a team-based packing line in a temperature-controlled environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Utilize an electronic picking system to select pre-packaged meat products for distribution.
- Carefully pack items into reusable containers for delivery.
- Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure the highest standards for our members' deliveries.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment.
- Demonstrate good judgment and attention to detail when addressing issues.
- Participate in cross-training opportunities to enhance your skills and advance your career.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a team-oriented packing environment.
- Familiarity with electronic picking systems.
- Ability to neatly organize and pack items for shipment.
- Commitment to quality assurance and maintaining high standards.
- Willingness to assist with general warehouse upkeep.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in cross-training within various departments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in cashiering or bagging.
- Prior pick and pack experience.
- Background in warehouse operations.
- Experience in the food or agriculture sector.
- Familiarity with working in a refrigerated environment.
