Position Overview

St. Luke's Elmore Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Travel Nurse RN for a critical access facility in Southern Idaho. This role involves providing exceptional care in the Emergency Department.

Certification Requirements
  • Mandatory Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
  • Additional Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC
Job Details

The selected nurse will engage in a 13-week travel assignment, working 12-hour shifts. The typical shift schedule includes:

  • Day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM
  • Night shifts from 12 PM to 12:30 AM
Patient Care Responsibilities

As an ER RN, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing an average of 35 patients per day
  • Maintaining a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4
Work Schedule

Shifts are organized to accommodate the needs of the facility, with a minimum requirement of:

  • 4 weekend shifts within a 6-week period
  • Holiday shifts as needed
Unit Specific Information

The Emergency Department features:

  • Trauma Level: Critical Access Hospital
  • Beds: 10 beds and 2 trauma bays
  • Triage Area: Available for patient assessment
Support Staff

The team includes:

  • 1 MD and 1 APP available 24/7
  • Charge RN present at all times
  • 1 CNA and sitters available as needed
