Anchor QEA is seeking a highly experienced and entrepreneurial-minded professional to lead the growth of our Environmental Restoration Practice in the Northwest region. We are looking for an individual with a strong background in habitat and ecological restoration planning and design, project management, staff management, and sales with regional and national clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead comprehensive scope development, fee negotiations, project schedule and deliverable milestones development, technical and financial project management activities, client and stakeholder coordination, project implementation, and subcontractor administration
  • Provide mentorship, technical oversight, and quality reviews on restoration projects
  • Identify strategic teaming partners and actively build relationships, helping to identify and support staff resource and hiring needs
  • Provide active mentorship and oversight of junior and mid-level staff
Business Development:
  • Help expand our existing habitat and ecological restoration practice, positioning for and winning multi-disciplinary projects and/or programs with a focus on sustainable habitat and ecological restoration solutions and climate resilience
  • Develop new clients, identify project opportunities, lead proposal efforts, and capture new work
  • Knowledge of existing and potential clients in the region, and ability to leverage existing relationships
Requirements:
  • Proven ability to generate new business over their career and grow a habitat and ecological restoration practice in the environmental consulting field, with a focus on federal, state, and local clients
  • Habitat restoration design experience, including river restoration, estuary and beach intertidal/backshore restoration, dam removal, compensatory mitigation, habitat/wetland banks, and general mitigation
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Sciences, Civil Engineering, or restoration-related field
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in habitat and ecological restoration planning and/or design, project management, staff management, and sales with regional and national clients
