About the Role:

As a Stockroom Student Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Chemistry Department's stockroom operations. This part-time position is ideal for a detail-oriented and organized individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the stockroom manager in maintaining a well-organized and efficient stockroom environment
  • Perform shipping, receiving, and inventory checks
  • Support the preparation and packaging of materials for distribution
  • Collaborate with department staff to ensure seamless operations

Requirements:

  • Must be a full-time student at James Madison University
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Working Conditions:

This position is a part-time, hourly position. Students must be enrolled on at least a half-time basis and have a 2.0 or better cumulative GPA.
