Job Overview

Deliver critical care to patients through thorough evaluation, strategic planning, coordination, and intervention. Assign care responsibilities to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals based on their defined roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct rapid evaluations and stabilization of patients facing life-threatening conditions.
  • Administer direct treatment to patients, including minor medical interventions.
  • Formulate diagnosis and treatment strategies for patients in the Emergency Room.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Carry out other tasks as assigned.
  • Engage in departmental or organizational meetings and training sessions.
  • Exhibit proficiency in utilizing equipment pertinent to the role.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills.
  • Capability to make informed decisions and resolve issues while collaborating effectively with physicians and other team members.
Licensure or Certification
  • Maintain National Certification.
  • Eligible for registration with the MN Board of Medical Practice.
  • First Aid and CPR Certification (ALS).
