Electrical Systems Supervisor

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work as a Journeyman Electrician Lieutenant at the Limon Correctional Facility. As a key member of the facility's maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the general public, staff, and inmates.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and a proven track record of supervising subordinate staff and inmate crews. You will be responsible for maintaining safe, efficient, and compliant electrical systems, as well as providing technical guidance and support to your team.
This is a full-time position that requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to work a rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities- Maintain safe, efficient, and compliant electrical systems
- Supervise subordinate staff and inmate crews
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members
- Ensure the safety and security of the general public, staff, and inmates
- Work a rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Active Journeyman or Master Electrician license issued by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA)
- Five years of employment experience performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance and/or installations of electrical systems
- Ability to create a cohesive team while mentoring and motivating assigned staff
- Comprehensive understanding of CDOC Performance Management Program (PMP) policy
- Proficiency in electrical systems and electronic devices
