About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Installation Specialist to join our team at Surface Experts of Central San Diego. As a key member of our Surface Experts Field Repair Technician team, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of flooring surfaces, including carpet, sheet vinyl, Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP), solid wood/engineered wood, and stone or tile flooring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair flooring surfaces to meet customer specifications and quality standards
  • Work independently to complete tasks and meet project timelines
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless execution of projects
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in floor installation or a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment
