Job Title: Geospatial Analyst

Land IQ is seeking a skilled Geospatial Analyst to join its team in Sacramento, California. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our experts in remote sensing, GIS, and agronomic disciplines to develop innovative geospatial solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement geospatial data analysis and visualization techniques to support our team's projects.
  • Collaborate with our scientists and analysts to design and implement spatial data management systems.
  • Utilize ESRI's ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online to create high-quality maps and web applications.
  • Conduct spatial analysis and develop statistical models to support our clients' needs.
  • Mentor and train new team members on GIS best practices and software applications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 1-5 years of experience in GIS, spatial analysis, and data management.
  • Strong knowledge of ESRI's ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
  • Proficient in Python programming and experience with ArcPy, GeoPandas, and Rasterio.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with remote sensing analysis and agronomic practices.
  • Knowledge of relational database environments and SQL.
  • Understanding of spatial/statistical modeling and statistics.
