Key Responsibilities

The Acquisition Specialist will:

  • Assist in the creation of essential program acquisition documentation, including Acquisition Plans, Acquisition Strategy Reports, Procurement Initiation Documentation, Statements of Work, funding documents, Contract Data Requirement Lists, and Acquisition Program Baseline Agreements.
  • Evaluate program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation to ensure compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements.
  • Participate in various meetings, conferences, and review boards, providing analytical support and input.
  • Collaborate with the Program Management Team and Contract Support Personnel.
  • Provide comprehensive acquisition support, including knowledge and experience with Acquisition Management Systems.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: A bachelor's degree is required, with allowable substitutions including an associate degree and two years of relevant work experience, or four years of additional work experience in related duties.
  • Experience: A minimum of three to ten years of experience in roles similar to those described.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of customer-related requirements.
