Tax Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Supervisor to join our Tax Services Group, specializing in Tech and Emerging Growth. As a key member of our team, you will play a lead role in tax engagements, supervise and mentor staff, and build strong relationships with clients.

• Prepare complex individual, trust, partnership, and corporate tax returns
• Review mid-level complexity individual, trust, partnership, and corporate tax returns prepared by tax staff for accuracy
• Research and draft memoranda involving complex tax matters
• Identify tax planning opportunities
• Handle and resolve tax controversies
• Manage multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to efficiently meet client deadlines
• Provide supervision, training, and support to engagement staff and promote open communication to the engagement partner and manager

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Working towards CPA license, or CPA certification (preferred)
• Masters of Science in Taxation is a plus
• 3+ years of prior experience working in the tax department of a public accounting firm
• Excellent analytical and technical tax skills
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment
• Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to represent the Firm well to client's management
• Excellent analytical, organizational, project management skills, and strong attention to detail
