Video Editor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our team at Solomon Page. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating high-quality short form videos for social media platforms, including TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and Meta.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit short form social media videos for various platforms
  • Shoot, edit, and produce social media and digital content
  • Collaborate with the account team to assess project needs and expectations
  • Trim footage segments and create video sequences
  • Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects
  • Create rough and final cuts

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio
  • Videography skills to shoot content are highly preferred
  • 4+ years of content creation experience for social media
  • Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop
  • Strong knowledge of video production techniques, lighting, audio recording, and post-production processes
  • Excellent storytelling and creative skills
