Bakery Clerk

At UNFI, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bakery Clerk to join our team in Rosemount. As a Bakery Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, and assisting with cake and bread orders.

• Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including stocking racks and tables, pulling stale product, and cleaning up spills and debris.
• Assist with cake and bread orders, including pulling product from the freezer and preparing for display.
• Work effectively with co-workers to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment.
• Adhere to company policies and individual store guidelines, including personal hygiene and dress standards.
• Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.

• Ability to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions and deal with a few concrete variables.
• Ability to do arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions and write identifying information.
• Visual requirements include clarity of vision at a distance of more than 20 inches and less than 20 feet with color vision, depth perception, and field of vision.
• Ability to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain valid food service sanitation certification.
