Manufacturing Craftsman

We are seeking a skilled Toolmaker to contribute to the production of high-quality precision parts at DemeTECH Corporation. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will work closely with senior toolmakers and engineers to deliver exceptional results.

• Support the tool room team in a collaborative environment, ensuring efficient workflow and seamless communication.
• Assist prototype personnel as needed, leveraging your expertise to drive project success and optimize processes.
• Apply mathematical skills in geometry and trigonometry to solve complex problems and improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Operate precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, indicators, and optical and physical gaging, to ensure accurate part dimensions and quality control.
• Read and interpret blueprints, applying your knowledge to determine fabrication process sequences and optimize production workflows.
• Check part dimensions using precision measuring instruments, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Fabricate simple jigs and fixtures to complete assigned jobs, working under supervision and guidance.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area, demonstrating a commitment to workplace safety, efficiency, and environmental responsibility.

• 3-5 years of machining experience, with a strong foundation in machine tool operations and manufacturing processes.
• AAS in Machine Tool or vocational training, or equivalent experience (e.g., benchwork, milling, turning, grinding, basic machine programming, CAD/CAM, metrology, quality control, fixture design and fabrication, EDM, heat treatment, and occupational health and safety).

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required in designated areas.
