Speech-Language Pathologist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at AnthroMed Education. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in supporting students with speech and language disorders in one of our partner charter schools in Cincinnati, OH.

Our Process

  • We invite qualified applicants to meet with our team to learn about our process and the support we provide.
  • We will work with you to match you with schools that align with your preferences and experience.
  • You will have the opportunity to interview with our school partners to discuss the caseload, school culture, and specifics of each role.

AnthroMed Clinical Support

  • Bi-weekly team meetings with all SLPs on our team.
  • Regular one-on-one support with our Clinical Support Director.
  • Generous materials stipend for the school year.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate students' speech-language abilities to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students according to their IEPs.
  • Conduct assessments, analyze results, and develop reports to identify strengths and concerns in areas of speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skills.
  • Stay current with professional literature, evidence-based research, and continuing education to inform practice decisions.
  • Develop a learning environment characterized by effective process management strategies.
  • Participate in IEP conferences, team meetings, and problem-solving meetings.
  • Collaborate with instructional staff to develop treatment plans that are strength-based and child-centered.
  • Ensure evaluations, intervention plans, and service delivery align with school, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Assist and guide teachers in observing, describing, and referring suspected and identified speech and language delays/disorders.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Valid OH SLP license.
  • ODE Professional Pupil Services License (School Speech-Language Pathologist).
  • Prior pediatrics/school experience preferred.
