We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team at TriCities Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care and management in a fast-paced acute care environment.
- Float throughout the facility to various nursing units, including ICU, ER, Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Outpatient Surgery.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and satisfaction.
- Document patient care and progress in Meditech, our electronic medical record system.
- Participate in quality management activities and promote cost-effective unit operations.
- Assist with the orientation of new personnel and contribute to the developmental needs of the unit and nursing department.
- Current license from the Virginia Board of Nursing (or multi-state compact license with eligibility to practice in Virginia).
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
- At least two years of previous nursing experience in an acute care facility required.
