Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Test Analyst with 2 to 4 years of experience to join our team at Cognizant North America. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in MS Power BI and will work from our office during day shifts. This role does not require travel. The Senior Test Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products contributing to the company's mission of delivering high-quality solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive testing of software applications to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand the functionality and design of the software applications.
• Provide detailed reports on testing activities including test results, defect status, and overall quality metrics.
• Utilize MS Power BI to create and maintain dashboards and reports for tracking testing progress and outcomes.
• Participate in requirement analysis and design review meetings to provide input on testability and quality.
• Ensure that all testing activities are conducted in accordance with established processes and standards.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Mentor and guide junior testers providing support and sharing best practices.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of testing milestones.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks and tools.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in testing technologies.

Qualifications
• Have 2 to 4 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on MS Power BI.
• Demonstrate proficiency in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Show experience in identifying, documenting, and tracking defects and issues.
• Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Display excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Have experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (nice to have).
• Show familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies (nice to have).
• Demonstrate the ability to mentor and guide junior testers.
• Possess a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
• Be proactive in staying updated with the latest testing trends and technologies.
• Have the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Show strong organizational and time management skills.

Certifications Required
• ISTQB Certified Tester
• MS Power BI Certification

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $59,000 - $80,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
