Occupational Medicine LPN Job Description

CORE Occupational Medicine is seeking an experienced Occupational Medicine Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in the Sugar Land, TX area. As an Occupational Medicine LPN, you will be responsible for administering treatment of work-related injuries, evaluating and documenting its effectiveness, and providing client education in areas related to safety, first aid, CPR, and others as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer treatment of work-related injuries and evaluate its effectiveness.
  • Provide client education in areas related to safety, first aid, CPR, and others as needed.
  • Assure proper maintenance of patients' records.
  • Perform client services related to Occupational Health and Safety protocols.
  • Demonstrate a courteous, caring, and understanding attitude towards patients, clients, co-workers, visitors, volunteers, peers, and medical providers.
Requirements:
  • High school Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) and completion of an accredited nursing certificate program.
  • Valid state LPN license.
  • Prior occupational medicine or emergency care related work experience preferred.
