Construction Laborer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Branco Enterprises, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing tasks involving physical labor for concrete and other commercial construction tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and prepare construction sites for the erection of structures and buildings
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools to dig trenches, set braces and concrete forms, pour and place concrete, tend machines, clean up rubble and debris and remove waste materials
  • Perform general construction labor to include jobsite clean-up & moving of materials by hand
  • Safely operate motorized equipment and power tools after proper training and authorization
  • Assist in setting forms and wall panel forms, pouring and placing of flatwork/vertical concrete
  • Material handling and storage (load/unload trucks, haul and hoist materials)
  • Set water, sewer, and storm piping

Requirements:

  • Maintain a clean job site by picking up all tools and equipment, securing the job site daily, and eliminating potential hazards
  • Reliable transportation for travel up to 75 miles to job site
  • Lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds, and up to 90 pounds of material with assistance
  • Stamina to walk, stoop, kneel, reach, climb and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions
