We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at BJ's Wholesale Club. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for engaging with members, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring that our meat department meets the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to members, answering questions and making recommendations on meat, poultry, and seafood products.
- Cut, grind, and process fresh meats to company standards, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Weigh, package, wrap, and label cuts of meat, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a meat cutting or butchery role preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
