About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our team at ApTask. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications using Java 8 or later, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and SOAP Web services. You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop software applications using Java 8 or later, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and SOAP Web services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions in an Agile environment.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases to design and develop robust database systems.
• Design and develop REST APIs for high-volume clients.
• Experience with continuous integration tools and container orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Experience working with asynchronous messaging systems like Kafka.
• Experience with Atlassian software development and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of financial industry.
• Experience with open-source frameworks is a plus, especially maintaining or contributing to open-source projects.
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external business partners.
