Salary
$95,000 - $120,000 per year based on experience and qualifications. The salary includes competitive compensation and benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), flexible spending, and flexible work hours so you can have a work/life balance.

Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineering Manager to lead our Flood Risk Reduction Program. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, mapping, planning, design, and construction of flood risk reduction projects. The ideal candidate should be experienced in developing and managing contracts, working with contractors, and overseeing project schedules, budgets, and requirements. They should also have excellent communication and leadership skills to manage multiple tasks and schedule work to maintain regular progress on assignments and meet deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, applicants must have a bachelor's degree in Planning, Water Resources/Civil/Environmental Engineering, or related field. A minimum of seven years of relevant professional experience in flood risk reduction projects, flood-related planning, mitigation, response or recovery, water resources planning, and/or flood modeling and mapping is required. Three years of progressively responsible professional work experience leading projects/programs or supervising staff is also necessary. A Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the state of Texas or another U.S. state with the ability to obtain a Texas P.E. license within six months of hire is preferred.
