About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paralegal to join our dynamic civil litigation team at Jobot. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our attorneys in the preparation and trial of complex civil cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a heavy caseload in a civil litigation environment, ensuring timely progress on all cases.
  • Provide full trial support, including preparing exhibits, drafting motions, and coordinating trial logistics.
  • Utilize Casemap or other document coding software to organize and manage case documents effectively.
  • Draft and issue subpoenas, including those for medical records.
  • Assist in preparing expert witnesses, including managing disclosures, depositions, and expert reports.
  • Collaborate with attorneys to conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Maintain meticulous records of case files, deadlines, and court requirements.
  • Meet and exceed a monthly billing goal of 120 hours.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation.
  • Proficiency with Casemap or similar document coding software.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with trial preparation and support, including working with expert witnesses.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to meet billing expectations.

  • Experience working with expert witnesses.
