Software Development Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our Azure WAN Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and building networking and automation components for the Wide Area Network.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements for a feature.
- Support the identification of dependencies and development of design documents for a product feature.
- Design and implement code for a product, service, or feature, reusing code as applicable.
- Assist in breaking down work items into tasks and provide estimation.
- Monitor system/product feature/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions and recommend actions to restore system/product/service.
- Review current developments and proactively seek new knowledge to improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, or C#.
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, or Python.
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $81,900 - $160,200 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
