Job Summary

A highly skilled Insurance Claims Specialist is needed to join the Eisenhower Health team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing and collections, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Manage new accounts and follow-up on existing ones to promote payment and resolution

Interface with other departments to obtain necessary information to process claims

Contact patients and guarantors to solicit payment on accounts

Work with the Follow-Up queue to promote collection of accounts

Stay current on payer requirements and process incoming correspondence

Record accurate and definitive notes in the electronic account file

Escalate account management to Supervisor when issues arise

Requirements

High school diploma or higher level degree

Three years of experience in medical billing or collections

Preferred: Experience with managed care and Medicare/Medi-Cal Billing regulations
