Position Summary

The Customer Outcomes Platform Architect plays a crucial advisory role, assisting clients in establishing a robust technical foundation on the ServiceNow Platform. This position involves designing solutions that align with business goals and advocating for best practices in areas such as instance strategy, technical governance, core data management, integrations, and overall platform health. This consultative role focuses on guiding both client and partner resources towards successful outcomes without performing direct configuration on the platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster strong relationships with C-suite executives and business leaders to comprehend their vision and the role of ServiceNow in their digital transformation journey. Develop visual roadmaps that translate business objectives into actionable outcomes.
  • Collaborate with customer architecture teams to:
    • Analyze and convert business and technical requirements into a comprehensive architectural blueprint that addresses complex business challenges.
    • Position ServiceNow as the primary system of action within the integrated digital transformation roadmap.
    • Establish and provide guidance on technical governance across relevant domains.
  • Ensure platform integrity by reviewing and advising on configurations and customizations that do not adhere to ServiceNow's leading practices.
  • Work alongside clients and ServiceNow teams to implement governance for delivery operating models, ensuring successful launches, user adoption, and ongoing support.
  • Promote ServiceNow's advisory best practices and industry use cases to clients.
  • Contribute to thought leadership through methodologies and white papers that illustrate how advisory and co-delivery can enhance customer outcomes.
  • Guide clients through prescriptive solution designs and manage critical technical implementation decisions.
  • Define solutions across the platform that align with delivered capabilities.
Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Consulting Experience:
    • Preferred background in management consulting (Big 4, Strategy Firms) or experience in OEM software or cloud companies.
    • Minimum of 3 years in leadership roles within top-tier consulting firms focused on technology (Digital/SaaS/Enterprise Software).
    • Experience as an enterprise architect within Fortune 500 or OEM software/cloud companies.
    • Demonstrated career progression in technical and architectural roles.
  • Experience with Functional Leaders:
    • Ability to identify business objectives and develop outcome-oriented roadmaps.
    • Experience guiding large consulting or systems integration organizations.
  • Large Program Leadership:
    • Over 3 years of experience leading architecture and design for large programs.
  • Enterprise Architecture Expertise:
    • Experience in enterprise or solution architect roles, including data modeling, core data design, security, integrations, and configuration management.
  • Cloud Application Technology Experience:
    • Experience implementing cloud-based systems such as Salesforce, Workday, AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud.
    • 1-2 years of experience with the ServiceNow Platform is preferred but not mandatory.
    • Familiarity with enterprise platforms is advantageous.
