Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team at Saint Alphonsus Health System. As a key member of our multidisciplinary treatment team, you will provide evidence-based individual, group, family, and educational services to patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment and psychotherapy services to patients, including individual, group, and family counseling.
  • Document clinical and consultative activities in patient electronic medical records.
  • Participate as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure the most appropriate treatment of patients.
  • Mentor students during internships, as applicable.
  • Participate in community meetings, as needed.
Requirements
  • One to three years of experience in a mental health setting required.
  • Experience in multiple therapy techniques preferred.
  • Ability to clearly document patient objectives, measurable goals, and progress toward goals.
  • Ability to recognize when patients have achieved maximum benefit from therapy and professionally terminate care when necessary.
