Cybersecurity Technical Analyst Team Lead

Peraton is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Technical Analyst to join its Department of State (DoS) Diplomatic Security Cyber Mission (DSCM) program. As a team lead, you will provide expert cyber and technology security experience to enable innovative, effective, and secure business processes.

This is a hybrid role located in Rosslyn, VA. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in various areas of cybersecurity, including cloud, AI, and secure communications.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assume duties as lead during Team Lead absence.
  • Serve as Deputy Team Lead.
  • Support the Cyber Security Solutions (CSS) section within the Technology, Innovation, and Engineering (TIE) Office.
  • Identify and implement solutions to enhance and/or streamline processes and automate workflow.
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Engage with customer and IC Working groups as directed by the Government.
  • Provide inputs to annual compliance reports as directed by the Government.
  • Lead collaboration and relationship building through the IC counterpart engagement process.
Qualifications

The successful candidate must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree and 9 years of overall work experience.
  • One of the following certifications: CASP+ CE, CCNA Cyber Ops, CCNA-Security, CCNP Security, CEH, CFR, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), Cloud+, CySA+, GCED, GCIA, GCIH, GICSP, SCYBER, VCA DCV, PPDA, Agile IC, or SNOW App Dev.
  • Experience in developing Federal emerging technology cyber challenges with multi-disciplinary assessment of areas such as Cloud, AI, and secure communications.
  • Demonstrated excellence in business acumen, team orientation, and strong customer service skills.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to obtain a final Top Secret security clearance.
Estimated Salary Range:

$104,000 - $166,000 per year based on experience and location.
