Bindery Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Production Specialist - Bindery to join our team at Navistar Direct Marketing. This individual will be responsible for assisting in the production and preparation of bindery materials according to established quality standards.

• Catching and banding all types and sizes of materials coming off folders
• Assembling boxes and power packs prior to and during the running of jobs
• Reading and following instructions on bindery jackets
• Keying job information into PSI system prior to and at the completion of the job
• Stocking work tables with bands, tape, load tickets, and rubber bands
• Maintaining bindery area in a neat and orderly manner
• Blowing off machines with air hose
• Blowing out air pump filters, oil folders, and sweeping floors as needed
• Mixing and filling water score system as needed
• Moving materials to proper destination using floor jack or forklift

• Reading and understanding job instructions before starting any job
• Ensuring quality throughout the job
• Operator responsible for getting job approved by a supervisor or lead operator
• Keeping waste to a minimum

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday. Shifts are available 6 am to 2 pm, 2 pm to 10 pm, and 10 pm to 6 am. The ideal candidate will have a high school education and up to one month of related experience or training. We offer competitive compensation including $35,000 estimated annual salary, 401(k) matching, dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.
