Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse II to join our Colorectal Surgery team. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing principles and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, coordinate, plan, direct, implement and manage the needs of assigned patients throughout their episode of care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Monitor patients' progress toward discharge and make adjustments to care plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and test results.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited professional academic nursing program.
  • Current NYS Registered Nurse license.
  • Certification in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC.
  • Able to improve job performance through continuing education.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $34.65 - $35.69 per hour, commensurate with experience.

About the Role

This is a night shift position in a post-surgical setting that cares for patients who have undergone colorectal and urologic surgery. The unit consists of 22 semi-private rooms and offers a dynamic and supportive work environment.
