Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist II Acute to join our team at Novant Health. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for preparing patients and operating x-ray equipment to obtain diagnostic images in the acute setting.

Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic and non-interpretive fluoroscopic procedures, including intraoperative and mobile procedures, as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
  • Assist licensed practitioners in the performance of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including ERCPs, bronchoscopy, mini-c-arms, post reductions, mobile imaging, and neonatal care.
  • Ensure proper equipment performance and schedule maintenance for emergent needs.
  • Properly operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, applying principles of ALARA to minimize radiation exposure to patients, self, and others.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiography Program with certification required within 6 months of hire.
  • Minimum of one year experience in diagnostic radiology, preferred.
  • ARRT certification in Radiography - RT(R) and applicable state licensure, required.
