Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at Warren Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Queensbury, New York. As a Speech Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from communication disorders, such as speech and language difficulties, swallowing disorders, and cognitive impairments.

Responsibilities

  • Implement treatment programs established by the Physical Therapist in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with facility staff to promote the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being for residents.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' communication needs.
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and progress monitoring to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements

  • New York Speech Therapist License
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Effective problem-solving skills
