Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluation and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify their physical therapy needs and develop personalized treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Physical Therapy Modalities: Administer a range of physical therapy modalities, including exercises, stretches, and manual therapy techniques, to restore function and prevent disability.
  • Patient Education and Empowerment: Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for managing pain, improving mobility, and maintaining independence.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Performance Improvement: Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance the quality of patient care and departmental operations.
Requirements
  • Current State Physical Therapy Licensure: Possess a valid physical therapy license in the state of Nevada.
  • Experience and Skills: Three or more years of experience in physical therapy, with a strong background in inpatient rehabilitation and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Education and Certification: A Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program and current BLS certification.
