Responsibilities:
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Underwriting Coordinator to join our Core Renewal Team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our brokers and agents.
This position will expose you to various aspects of underwriting, including monitoring tasks in our system, completing endorsements within your assigned authority, delegating work to the appropriate contacts in different departments, and managing smaller renewals based on your assigned letter of authority across multiple lines of business.
We will equip you with the necessary tools and resources to thrive as you engage with various stakeholders, participate in professional development, and enjoy career advancement in your role.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule: 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
Qualifications:
Key Duties &
Responsibilities:
Underwrite small renewals within your assigned Letter of Authority.
Collaborate closely with underwriters to manage policy requests and renewals.
Adhere to underwriting guidelines, state regulations, and general procedures while processing assigned renewal policies.
Maintain ownership of assigned tasks and deliver acceptable service standards when processing and delegating tasks.
Provide agency support to assigned agents by addressing general inquiries, offering endorsement status, cancellation status, billing inquiries, etc., or directing them to the appropriate contact.
Qualifications:
Possess the knowledge and skills necessary to underwrite Workers' Compensation, Property, General Liability, Auto, and Umbrella lines of business.
Demonstrated team player with an energetic personality.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet productivity deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented with a strong desire to learn.
Capable of providing information clearly and concisely, with an appropriate level of detail, empathy, and professionalism.
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships.
Strong analytical skills to gather information, analyze facts, and draw conclusions.
