Join Our Team as a Cardiovascular Nurse Specialist

Central Carolina Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiovascular Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our cardiovascular care team, you will provide direct and indirect patient care, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Your expertise will ensure the physical, psychosocial, religious/cultural, and emotional needs of our patients and their families are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, ensuring seamless care coordination.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cardiovascular care practices and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; BSN preferred.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in North Carolina or compact state required.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Cath lab setting preferred.
  • BLS certification required within 30 days of hire; ACLS and Cardiovascular Certification preferred.
