Our client is a leading manufacturer of high-performance industrial materials, providing precision machining services to various sectors, including aerospace, defense, and automotive. We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue growth.
  • Financial Modeling: Prepare financial models, forecasts, and reports to support business planning and decision-making processes.
  • Profitability Analysis: Conduct profitability analysis on products, services, and customer segments.
  • Accounting and Financial Reporting: Manage daily accounting activities, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes. Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Internal Controls: Support the implementation and enforcement of internal controls, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of combined experience in financial analysis and accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Excel for financial modeling. Knowledge of GAAP and familiarity with cost accounting principles in manufacturing.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
