Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of imaging experience, with a strong background in CT Technology. As a Radiology Expert, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive CAT Scans, ensuring timely completion of post-processing, and conducting CTAs with effective post-processing.

You will also be expected to efficiently handle trauma patient scans, manage medications during distribution or administration, and minimize radiation exposure to patients, yourself, and auxiliary staff. Additionally, you will maintain high-quality image production in scanning and lead in coordinating radiology care across various settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive CAT Scans: Chest, abdomen, spine, extremities, fluoroscopy, and pediatric exams.
  • Ensure timely completion of post-processing: Efficiently process images to meet deadlines.
  • Conduct CTAs with effective post-processing: Use advanced software to enhance image quality.
  • Efficiently handle trauma patient scans: Prioritize emergency cases and provide critical care.
  • Manage medications during distribution or administration: Safely administer medications as needed.
  • Minimize radiation exposure: Follow safety protocols to reduce exposure risks.
Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • ARRT certification: Demonstrate expertise in CT Technology.
  • Valid Florida state license in CT Technology: Meet state requirements for licensure.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a CT Technologist in a hospital setting: Proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Experience in coronary CTA and invasive CT procedures preferred: Showcase advanced skills in these areas.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA): Demonstrate commitment to patient safety.
  • Ability to float: Adapt to changing situations and environments.
  • Experience with GE 650 and Siemens Perspective equipment: Familiarity with industry-leading technology.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around $$120,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
