Blending Technician

We are seeking a skilled Blending Technician to join our team at Butterball, LLC. As a Blending Technician, you will be responsible for performing various tasks in the Blending department to support the overall operations within the department.

• Process Product: Utilize tools and equipment to process product in a safe and efficient manner.
• Follow Safety Policies: Adhere to all work safety policies and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Monitor Equipment: Observe equipment operation and notify appropriate personnel of any malfunctions or safety issues.
• Meet Quality Standards: Adhere to all USDA and GMP product standards and guidelines to ensure high-quality products.
• Maintain a Clean Work Area: Ensure a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and productivity.
• Rotate to Various Functions: Will be required to rotate to various functions within the processing department to gain a comprehensive understanding of the operations.
• Perform Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the team's goals and objectives.

• Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Effective Communication: Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Physical Demands: Must be willing and able to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to recognize numbers and their relationship to each other and perform basic math functions.
• Language Skills: Employee must have the ability to read and understand basic English as related to the paperwork requirements of the job.

• Damp and Cold Environment: May work in a damp and cold environment (40 F- 50 F).
• Loud and Noisy Machinery: Work with loud and noisy machinery.
• Dusty Environment: Work in a dusty environment.
• Pungent Odors: Work around pungent odors.
