Job Overview

The Production Technician will engage in various tasks involving the assembly of manufactured and procured components into subassemblies or complete products. These products may encompass mechanical, electrical, or hybrid systems. This role offers the potential for skill development leading to advancement opportunities within the assembly classification.

A Day In The Life

Utilize blueprints and routing documents to fabricate components according to specified standards.

Ensure the quality of the assemblies produced by conducting initial and ongoing inspections to maintain overall product integrity. Take responsibility for routine maintenance and uphold a tidy work environment. Adhere to all operational protocols regarding machinery and safety measures. Maintain basic records related to productivity, quality, and safety.

What Will Help You Thrive in This Role?

Possess the necessary skills and capabilities to assemble manufactured and procured components into subassemblies or complete products.

Must be equipped with all essential tools required for job functions. Proficient in operating assembly machinery such as riveting machines, assembly presses, and power tools.

Physical capability to perform tasks that involve frequent standing, sitting, bending, as well as pushing, pulling, and lifting items weighing up to 30 lbs. on a regular basis. Adequate reading and writing skills to follow work instructions and prepare basic production documentation. Sufficient visual acuity (with correction) to read instructions, operate machinery, and inspect components. Adequate manual dexterity to operate equipment effectively.
