The Senior Manual QA Tester will be responsible for conducting hands-on testing of our FX trading platforms. Leveraging over a decade of QA experience, the successful candidate will be expected to work closely with our development and product teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality and reliable trading software to our clients.

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual testing of FX trading applications.
  • Execute detailed manual tests to validate the usability, accuracy, and reliability of trading systems.
  • Identify, record, and track bugs and inconsistencies in the trading platform.
  • Provide detailed quality assurance reports and feedback to the development team.
  • Work closely with software developers and product managers to understand the product's design and requirements.
  • Perform regression testing and assist in the development of automated testing strategies.
  • Stay abreast of new technologies in the field of manual testing and FX trading.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards associated with the FX market.
  • Mentor junior QA staff and help in enhancing team knowledge and expertise.

Requirements:

You are:

  • A minimum of 10 years of QA experience, with a strong background in manual testing.
  • Extensive experience with FX trading platforms and understanding of Forex markets.
  • Proven track record in developing manual test cases and plans.
  • Familiarity with trading regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

It would be great if you also had:

  • Experience with any automated testing tools is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of SQL and databases.
  • Experience with risk management or financial reporting is a plus.
  • Professional certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are desirable.
