Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal respiratory health.
  • Administer prescribed respiratory therapies and treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and ventilator management.
  • Evaluate patient response to treatment and make adjustments as needed to ensure effective care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with patients and families.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in respiratory care.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent experience and education.
  • Current registration as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the state of employment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
