Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Specialist PRN to join our team at Rose Medical Center. As a critical care expert, you will assist physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, electrophysiology procedures, structural heart procedures, and peripheral vascular procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians in performing complex cardiovascular procedures
  • Provide safe and appropriate patient care within the Standards of Nursing Practice at SMC
  • Communicate positively and professionally with all internal and external customers
  • Have patient assessment knowledge and ability
  • Available to fulfill the department requirements of being on-call for after hours emergency procedures
Requirements
  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate nursing licensure, or current registration as Registered Radiology Technologist (RTR), or current certification as Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
  • Current BLS certification and current ACLS certification through AHA or ARC
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing, accredited RTR and/or RCIS training program
  • 2 years' experience in critical care nursing preferred (RN)
  • 2 years' experience in interventional radiology procedures (RTR) preferred
  • 2 years' experience in cardiovascular lab setting preferred (RCIS)
